Are there existing explorations into IPD/other games with payoffs that are do not behave like real numbers?
For example, I think there are IPD-like scenarios in which the payoffs oscillate between many phases depending on when the iteration occurs. I think such games can be modeled using payoffs that are complex numbers, and each outcome can be multiplied by the phase of the game which could be represented as another complex number.
I believe there are also practical applications for games where the payoffs are a combination of entities which can be independently be maximized. That would require the payoffs to be in higher dimensional euclidean spaces. [Manage messages]
